Yahoo Sport reported that Yao Ming is retiring from NBA. Due to his injuries in recent years, I know this decision is coming sooner or later. Unfortunately, it comes sooner.
Ming is not a dominant Center if you compare him with Shaq O'neal or
Hakeem Olajuwon. Ming is a finesse player; he is the only center who shoots the free throw for the team with 83% in NBA history. I think this record probably won't be broken in another 20 years. Ming does have soft hands and multiple skills. It is a great pleasure to see him score in different ways. I have to say it is kinda boring to see Dwight Howard to score because he can only dunk and nothing else.
More importantly, Ming has a heart to the basketball and his work ethics is incredible. I hope most of my IT colleagues can have half of his work ethics.
