Hurrah! We broke the record for the snowiest winter in Washington area. It was 54.4 inches in Washington in 1898-99 and we got 54.9 inches already and snow keeps falling. Guess what? I no longer have fun in shoveling snow. I had a life-time mistake which I sold my snow blower to my friend 15 years when I moved from Minnesota to Washington DC. My arms are so sore that I even doubt I can still type. You can tell this doubt was lasting very long. I went out to buy a pack of cigarette and the entire town is just like a ghost town. Thank God the 7-11 is still open and I have a 4 X 4 SUV. I have never appreciated my LX470 that much since I bought the damn gas guzzler. Our office probably will remain closed if snow won't stop tonight. I haven't been in office for a week; I better make sure I still have a job because you never know.
